Introduction (fandom_muses application part 2)
It’s probably a good thing I like talking about myself. Wotcher! I’m Tonks. Well, technically my name is Nymphadora Tonks-Lupin, but that’s a bit of a mouthful, so mostly I’m just Tonks.

I’m an Auror by profession. That’s magical law enforcement to all you Muggles out there. That’s right, I catch the bad guys and make sure they get brought to justice. I’m not too bad at it, either. Aurors are pretty elite, and I’m one of the youngest.

I was born right in the middle of a big war against a very bad wizard, and I grew up with it, so it’s probably no surprise that I decided at a really early age I wanted to fight the bad guys for a living. I mean, people I knew as a little girl died, or got their lives torn apart. Good people. No one deserves the sort of things I saw happening.

Besides all that, my, er, unique talents are pretty well-suited to my career. I’m a metamorphmagus. That means I can change my appearance to look like anyone, or anything. Makes for great instant disguises.

Anyway, my personal life was a little complex there for a while. Started working for an underground organization when I realized the government was, well, bollocks. That’s when I fell in love with Remus. He’s… well. Amazing. Except he sometimes… has trouble with commitment. Oh, you know how it is, he gets scared and runs off on a possibly-deadly mission, breaking my heart and worrying me half to death for months on end.

Well, like I said, he’s a wonderful man and now we’re happily married. Oh, and we have a son, Teddy. Things aren’t perfect, they never are. But I’m cautiously optimistic.
